We use a combination of highly effective adjusting approaches to help improve spinal biomechanics and reduce nervous system interference. By using a variety of chiropractic techniques, we can tailor our care to suit our patient’s needs.
In addition to the more traditional style of chiropractic (Diversified Technique) that most are used to, we also use a hand-held instrument called The Activator. As well, we offer a relatively new but increasingly popular technique called Network Spinal Analysis (NSA).
NSA is uses a light touch, at certain contacts along the spine to help your body release tension and abandon its defensive posture. These contacts are made at specific moments in a patient’s respiration cycle. These precise yet gentle touches to the spine cue the brain to move from a defensive posture to one that is more flexible and at ease. This approach can be far reaching, as patients develop new strategies for living and healing as the nervous system learns to release mechanical tension.
Based on the outcomes of research conducted at the University of California ( Irvine ), patients receiving NSA Care reported significant improvement in physical, emotional and mental health as well as reduced stress and greater life enjoyment. Of 2800 patients, over 67% improved in every category and significantly improved compared to making other lifestyle changes alone.
